Open Office Pty Ltd has acquired the AssetMaster Software Division from InfoMaster Pty Ltd.

It is with great pleasure and excitement that we inform you that Open Office Pty Ltd has acquired the AssetMaster Software Division from InfoMaster Pty Ltd.

Established in 1990, Open Office is a wholly Australian owned company and is widely recognised as a leading provider of high-function, integrated, statutory and compliance management systems.

Open Office offers a range of customer centric business applications for State and Local Governments, with over 400 clients across Australia.

Open Office has been delivering software to State and Local Government for over 20 years, and with its recent acquisition of Property and Rating, Finance, Payroll and GIS software, it has now added another important piece of the puzzle, asset management software to its suite of products .

Open Office’s business strategy is to extend its experience and services into this area.

The strategic plan included the acquisition from InfoMaster of the AssetMaster Software, a proven product with the desired functionality, efficiency, comprehensiveness, user friendliness and effectiveness that the AssetMaster Software products provide.

Key staff with a high level of knowledge and experience in the AssetMaster Software have been retained, to ensure a seamless transition with regards to the maintenance and support services that Open Office will continue to provide to its Customer.

The acquisition of AssetMaster Software being integrated into the Open Office suite of products, is a key strategic business initiative, aimed at offering a better solution as well as support to compete with the other major Vendors as this gives Open Office the most complete and comprehensive Local Government Corporate Integrated System in the market place.
