Richard has an extensive background in accounting, law and investment banking. He has, for many years, focused on the commercialisation of technology with a broad range of client engagements in M&A, advisory services, public and private equity raisings and structured finance.
He was previously with Deutsche Bank which he joined in 1983. Subsequently, as Managing Director and Head of Technology Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank from 1997-2001, he was responsible for the completion of $150m in Private Equity raising and $400m in M&A assignments.
He was also responsible for the original development of the R&D syndicate structures and for the completion of 70 transactions totalling in excess of $1.5bn.
Richard holds a B.Comm and Bachelor of Laws from UNSW and Master of Laws from the University of Sydney and is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants
